RE: Battery Transfer pump for antifreeze

Just an RV water pump...but you should use the one already there. I do use the onboard one, but lately its doesn't (sorry about this) suck as well as it used to.

Battery Transfer pump for antifreeze

I use a manual pump to winterize my class c, works ok, but thought I would see if a battery powered transfer pump that would connect my RV was available. So far I haven't found one - anyone tried such?

RE: New Coach Batteries

I am considering this battery for my "house" battery on a 2006 Grayhawk - would it work with my original charger system? https://www.samsclub.com/p/duracell-agm-deep-cycle-marine-and-rv-battery-group-size-31dtmagm/prod3590232?xid=plp_product_1_2 Which converter does it have? Some earlier ones had the Iota with no jack for the IQ4. That would be no good. Then they went to PDs ISTR. That would be good but only with the Charge Wizard for it. I will try and determine what converter I have - thanks

RE: Yellowstone Grant/Madison CG's

My Grayhawk is 30" 9", and I was towing a CRV. I called the campground number and over a few days they found me a 3 night and a 2 night opening,(2 different campgrounds) THAT THEY SAID WOULD FIT my equipment, so no surprises upon arrival. I strongly recommend calling, not using the website. and Yellowstone was great (only our 5th trip)... You did not mention but I'm assuming the 2 different campgrounds you stayed at were Grant and Madison. Were your sites back in or pull through? I did make reservations over the phone but the folks I talked with were at a reservation center and not at the campground and basically were repeating what they had been told about the campsites, i.e. 30 feet max. If you remember the number where I could actually speak with someone at the Yellowstone campgrounds I would really appreciate. Actually Grant Village and bridge Bay - talked to the reservation center, telling them the sizes of my 2 units (class c and crv), they gave me reservations based on that info. We had no problem at check in, and truthfully, no one looked at my unit before sending us to our site. Both sites were fine, i.e., we fit. Grant btw, comes with free showers. The guy across the street from us in Bridge bay however had a major problem - his site was occupied by a buffalo who stayed the night, so for some odd reason the camper in question didn't.

RE: 2006 Grayhawk Ford e450 v-10: Power increase

Push harder on the gas pedal and let the engine scream, really. x2 on this. The Ford V10 needs to rev to produce power, more so than many truck engines, and with ten cylinders it sounds like it's about to self-destruct...but it isn't, and it can operate like that as long as is needed. That said, you of course are not going to get car-like acceleration out of a class C motorhome...even little economy car-like acceleration. wow... ok - any other advice?

Limit refrigerator door opening

My refrigerator door sometimes "slams" against the parallel cabinet door if opened too quickly, or a teenager is involved, I'm sure this isn't a good idea - I'm looking for a way to limit the opening distance without getting in the way of normal use.

RE: Want to buy Dristan tablets from Canada

I appreciate the help - unfortunately, Dristan tablets are OTC so the pharmacies don't carry them. Walmart Canada will not ship meds of any sort to USA. Dristan tablets do not contain pseudoephedrine. Maybe I will stumble onto a source. From what I can tell, the original formulation of dristan DID contain pseudoephedrine. -------------------------- >>NOT sure as to the "original", but the CURRENT contains acetaminophen, phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate. -------------------------- It was a COMBINATION DRUG which contained THREE ingredients. While most likely not the best of "sources" THIS is where I found this information.. One of the posts mentions that it contained.. "Dristan had pseudophedrine, chlorpheniramine, and acetaminophen. Pseudophedrine is in Sudafed, but it might only be available by going to the pharmacy window. Chlorpheniramine is what's in Chlor-trimeton. Acetaminophen is tylenol. If you can't find Dristan, make your own combiniation of drugs" And really, you DON'T NEED the Acetaminophen for sinus relief. I am quite shocked that you have been able to buy it anyways, it HAS been discontinued AND pulled from the shelves for quite a few years and does not look like they are ACTIVELY manufacturing it. Anything you might find from Canada most likely is out of date.. ---------------------------- >>> I bought some in Canada recently --------------------------- I would not bet my life on ANY Internet or "mailorder" medicine outfits including Canada or Mexico, there is a high chance of getting counterfeit meds that could harm you or even kill you.. --------------------------- >>> A GOOD point -------------------------- There ARE tons of legit alternative sinus medications on the market, I highly doubt that you cannot find anything else that works. Perhaps try seeking help from your own DR, ---------------------------- >>> ODDLY enough I have, he concurred with my choice - certain problems I have make Dristan tablets a very good pick. ---------------------------- there ARE a lot of good choices of prescription and non prescription sinus/allergy meds and your DR should be able to find something that will work for you. ---------------------------- >>> SEEMS I must but the Dristan tablets worked extremely well for me, better than any other OTC I have tried. --------------------------- thanks for your input.
