RE: Jayco Hot Water Heater Problem

Could the check valve be bad on a brand new trailer? Of course it could be bad, it is a cheap plastic part. You should be able to find a quality check valve at Home Depot or Lowe's. Can you tell me if the black part in this picture is the check valve? And anything I should know about taking it off besides draining the tank?? Thank you!! https://gopro.com/v/nrvLm925ewJMZ

RE: Jayco Hot Water Heater Problem

Could the check valve be bad on a brand new trailer? I am having this exact problem. Very little pressure from hot water on all faucets! If the water is not hot it runs fine. Please help, pulling my hair out! I'm on the road. Thanks!!

RE: Can anybody tell me....

It wasn't all of you, just some of you and the remarks. If my question wasn't clear then someone could have said that. Anyway this is what I learned (and was looking for)..... The 2A reading is what was "being sent" to the batteries, even though it is sunny that is all the batteries needed at the time. When I turned on some lights and that number changed to 3.4A that is what was "being sent" to the batteries to compensate for the power being used. Don't know if I explained it right but I understand now.

RE: Can anybody tell me....

You're asking if the numbers are good, bad or ugly. And the answer is.... it depends. :) For example, if you have a roughly 40W panel, 2A output in full sun is good; but if you have 200W of solar panels, 2A is ugly. Thank you, thank you!! You are the only one who basically answered my question!! I do have 200W, that 2A was not direct sun. But now I understand what that number is telling me. I have been a part of this forum many years (as you can see on the side) and it used to be a great place to come for help. After my last few posts I am very disappointed. It feels like people just want to criticize and make you feel like an idiot for asking for a little help instead of actually ANSWERING the question or helping. Thank you again for answering my question!!

RE: Can anybody tell me....

OP..please come back. Oh I'm here but my head is gonna explode! Still not sure if it's good bad or ugly. I will check out some YouTube stuff and see if I can figure it out.

RE: Escapees

Good info but I wasn't asking for cheap or discount campgrounds! In fact my preference is boondocking! I have already checked the Escapees website extensively. What I was asking is how difficult is it to get into their campgrounds, are they always full? It would be nice to go to a campground once in a while for a few weeks or so. Sooooo ----> take 2....... Oh and by the way all of their CG's I checked out did not take reservations!

Escapees

Are any of you members of the Escapees? I am thinking about joining. Very interested in all of their RV parks as I travel as a full timer. I am just wondering if I travel to one of the parks will I be able to get in (as a member of course)? I would think they are pretty popular. I would want to stay for a minimum of a few weeks to maybe a month or two. I'm just worried about there being a spot when I get there. Thanks!!

RE: Wingard Air360+ with WiFI Router

My new trailer I just got has the Air 360+ (which works great for TV)! and it's ready for the wifi extender to be added (basically plug and play). I am getting ready to go full time so I did extensive research about this wifi extender. Conclusion - it is only as good as the area you are in. It costs ~$300 to add it. I decided I will change my Verizon plan to the top data unlimited plan and use my phone as a hot spot for streaming on the TV (its a smart tv) and for my computer use. This way wherever I have service I will have everything I need. Way better than having to hope for a decent wifi signal. Hope this helps!

RE: Arizona RV licensing

Gotta love Texas....my 2018 truck brand new 1st yr registration fee = $98, just renewed for 2nd year = $78! My new 2020 trailer will be ~$100 this year and about $45 next year, this makes me a happy camper!

RE: Rear Hitch Receiver

Usually this forum is the best place to get some ideas, help, answers. This time not so much. Out of all the "answers" I got I think there were 2 that actually replied to what I was asking! Thank you to them! Did you all just see the topic name and completely ignore my question? Seems that way. Thanks anyway

RE: Rear Hitch Receiver

Again....I am asking about box ideas.....there is no bumper on my trailer, hitch is welded to the frame. There will not be that much weight on the carrier. Soo....Anybody have a box on their trailer or have other ideas (about a box)?

RE: Rear Hitch Receiver

The hitch is connected to the frame on both sides. I am not going to have that much weight on there so I'm not worried about it. What I am looking for (this post is about) is a box to put on the hitch carrier. Looking for ideas, advice, etc....

RE: Rear Hitch Receiver

Mine will hold 300 lbs, which will work fine for me.

Rear Hitch Receiver

I'm getting ready to go full time. Adding a hitch carrier to the rear hitch receiver on my trailer will give me some nice storage for those less used items. My idea....get a hitch carrier, the size is 60Wx20Dx6H, then I want to add a box that will fit in the carrier that I can lock. I like the diamond plate boxes but can't find a decent size for a decent price. Have any of you done this? Ideas on boxes? Pictures?? Thanks!!

RE: 12v outlet question

So I'm just sayin, but I used this inverter in my last rv's 12v outlet under the tv that was about 13' from the batteries for the last 4 yrs with no problems.
