RE: Transplanting large trees

I haven’t done it, but you should check with people in your area. Very possible to transplant very large trees as long as you have money. A LOT OF MONEY Very possible to transplant very large trees as long as you have money.

RE: Are My Tanks Really Empty?

1. These gages are notoriously WRONG, when flow stops completely, the tank is empty, Black or grey, (unless you have a serious blockage.) 2. It depends on tank outlet location, my outlet is at the rear corner of the tanks, so if you are setting nose down, you are probably not getting a complete dump. Do you have a leak, in a faucet, kitchen, bathroom sink, shower? other than that, I have no idea how you have a full grey tank in 12 hours, UNLESS your DW is dumping water and not telling you, is she taking LONG showers. I've never heard of tanks filling so quickly, we can usually go 5-7 days, but then we use a lot of paper products, so we generally do dishes once a day.

RE: 2007 F53 radiator hoses where to buy

As said, any auto parts store, Not sure what you have in Ca., but around here, I'd go to Advance Auto, Auto Zone, O'Reilly, or Napa Auto Parts, You could also go to any Ford Truck dealer (but you'd Probably pay a lot more).

RE: Are DMVs operating in your area?

I think ours is about the same, but some things can be done online, like registration renewals, Driver license Renewal, Plate purchase, and others.

RE: Tow mirrors and rear camera

On my MH, I have both, and wouldn't be without mirrors, the camera doesn't show all, basically only straight behind you.

RE: RV Water heater

I never turn mine off when camping, but then mine isn't next to my bed, but if it were, I'd agree with the others and just turn it off before retiring. Do I assume it's only noisey when on propane ? I've never heard mine when on electric.

RE: Update on my 2021 Forest River 3010DS that is being built.

Jimbo, why stop there, when you exit Skyline, pick up Blue Ridge Parkway and continue for another 405 miles, making the entire trip 510 mi +/-, should be good for at least 3 weeks.

RE: Food for thought

So then who was polk sallet (salad) Annie? And what's a polk? Actually, it's poke, it's a plant that grows wild, it's cooked much like collard greens, there are specific methods for cooking it that can be found on youtube.

RE: Notification email link does not work

Hey bukhrn, you missed MO, and NE> better get back on the road. LOLOLOLActually have been thru both, just never camped there, hoping for another western swing, depending on what goes on with Covid next year.

RE: Notification email link does not work

Agreed that your title was lacking, but it also wouldn't have taken any skin off the Mods fingers to tell you WHY your post was just arbitrarily deleted, it's hard to correct ones mistakes if you don't know what you did wrong.

RE: End of Trailer Life and MotorHome magazines

I’m not too sure that those Prevost owners are going to be thrilled with the PopUp articles :B :B. :BWhy would they be reading Trailer Life, where the PopUp section will be, rather than MotorHome.Com, where their interest would be? My Question is, where will the Truck Camper Folks fit, as they are neither Trailer nor Motorhomes.

RE: Scenic View

I guess you could put a larger window in, but I'd want a pro to do it, if for no other reason than it gives me someone else to blame when it leaks. :R

RE: What do you guys use for a BBQ?

https://mobileimages.lowes.com/product/converted/841765/841765100761.jpg height=450 width=600 Cheap, and plenty big enough for the two of us. And works very well.

RE: Scenic View

Even with the Rona rules, I do believe, you are allowed to sit outside...no? Also, did they swap out the window after you put your deposit down?X-2, the view from outside is much better anyways.

RE: Driving a 33' Class A

Small town parking is a pain. U-turns? Forget about it. A "toad" may be needed. Not only "Needed", but extremely usefull, not only in small town but in getting around in general, not to mention the PITA of tearing down & setting up every time you want to go see something, plus the economics of touring in your toad at 30-38 MPG +/-, vs 7-8 in your MH.

RE: Newbie trailer owner, quite confused

On battery, your lights will work, radio, water pump, water heater on propane, fridge will work on Propane, you still need 12V for it to work, Furnace will work, perhaps not for long, propane detector, For all your 120V things, like wall outlets, TV, AC, microwave you will need shore power, or generator.
