RE: Forest River RV XLR Boost 37TSX13? Any owners on here?

tuvok42 - I think you'll be fine. Looking at the floor plan the bathroom on the other side really shouldn't had that much weight that it would be an issue. That type of floorplan is far more likely to be used for motorcycles or bikes and other toys, vs 1 ATV so I don't think the weight distribution would be an issue.

RE: Towing issues with new style large Ford Bronco

The other way to go about that is find a Ford Bronco Forum and see if they have a towing section. Having gone from my Wrangler to a Gladiator I've spent a lot fo time on the Gladiator forums learning the in/outs and specific issues with the Gladiator.

RE: Towing issues with new style large Ford Bronco

I'm seeing very few being towed so far, but Bronco (not Bronco Sport) is flat towable. Hopefully a member can chime in that owns one.

RE: 12 ft garage and 36' max length

Really your best bet is to start going to each manufacturer to see what they offer. Things change over time so hard for owners to know what is being made today. Keeping it at 36' with a 12' garage will be a big challenge. I'd start checking Genesis RV and Grand Design.
Check out The Complete List of Toy Haulers I try to keep it updated with the various manufacturer links.

RE: 12 ft garage and 36' max length

Any thoughts on having the rzr in the living quarters? Any gas smells?
You know your RZR the best as you maintain it, etc. If you don't have odors or leaks you now you should be good. But you will be dealing with cleaning it up so you don't bring in mud, dirt and dust.

RE: Request Structural Change.

I don't think you're going to find any mass producing manufacturer is going to be willing to make accommodations for a one-off custom floor plan.
I know of one manufacturer that does do some custom work; Dune Sport. Over the years they've had a bit of a mixed bag of reviews. Before you contact them take the time to read about things from one of our toy hauler members that purchased from them; purchased a custom dune sport toyhauler

RE: 2006 Weekend Warrior Billet,FD-402, 23’ toy hauler

bruceredden, welcome aboard. I'd suggest taking it to scales like Cat Scales go when it's slow and be ready. I'd disconnect the trailer so you can get a good tongue weight but a fully hooked up too. Here is a good guide - I say do this since you have the real weights not just the claimed weights.

RE: New Jeep Gladiator TOAD

Bit the bullet tonight and ordered the CoolTech harness for our Gladiator (ouch), but after a lot of reading various groups I felt it was the best and safest bet.
Also ordered the new parts for the ReadyBrake we already have.
Now I need it to warm up a bit, crawling around and cold concrete is no fun.

RE: Towing a Honda CRV one time - NC to Maine

Tough one. You're in a bit of a no win situation. Since it's not your CRV I'd ask them how they feel about it being towed without brakes. Like you not sure I'd feel great about that. Check places like Sunbelt Rentals or some more local rental shops, I know a few around me have a couple - though unsure if they have brakes or not.
Are you towing it up and leaving it there, or will it come back with you? I'm not sure I'd want to spend all that $$$ to purchase a trailer for a one time use. How about driving it up? Maybe pay for an airline ticket for them to come down... might be cheaper.

RE: Toads

A quick, non-authoritative, review of the Chevy Trailblazer online owners manual it would appear the AWD is flat tow able, the FWD can not.

RE: New Jeep Gladiator TOAD

Funny how things can change in a short time. 30 days ago I was still loving my Wrangler, end of December I was able to pick up a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon and trade my 2011 Wrangler. Loving the Gladiator, but need to start the process of getting it flat tow ready.
