RE: My Grand Design 320G came in!

I ordered the Reese Goosebox. You swap out the king pin for the Goosebox. Lippert will honor your frame warranty if you use this piece. That's good to hear, a number of people had issues so glad you knew about the warranty of it! Enjoy!

RE: Owners Manual

Jeff, they really do not exact for any Toy Hauler. A few manufacturers have made them but they are very rare. Basically the owners packet is just an envelope of all the various manufacturers for items like the water heater, AC, converter/charger, fridge, stove, etc. You can find almost all of those things online. If you have a specific question of how something operates feel free to ask here, chances are good that one of the members here can help you out.

RE: 2011 Honda CR-V

Teeshot1939 my take on it, yes. The vehicle has sat overnight, fluids, etc needs to be warmed up and lubricate parts. Not worth the risk by not doing it.

RE: shield for towed car

Husband is concerned about air flow behind the shield and wants to know if drilling small holes in the shield will be a benefit or if doing so will affect the integrity of the shield.I can't see any benefit from doing this, in a rain situation it would just let any rain/mud/dirt get through the holes. What does he think the benefit would be from it? What concerns about airflow does he have? The car isn't running so I'm not sure what concerns he has.

RE: Toy Hauler Recommendations

Some good brands have already been mentioned. Grand Design generally gets some good reviews, the other one that might be worth a look is the Luxe but I'm not sure anyone here has bought one. It's part of the old Weekend Warrior break up (two companies using the name now) but you might check it out.

RE: KZ Sportsman Fifth wheel toy hauler Wiring diagram

Welcome to the forums! As already mentioned it would be pretty much next to impossible to get a wiring diagram. Over the years many have tried only to either not get a reply from the factory or been told they don't have them available. What are you trying to accomplish? Many of us have worked our way around the lack of wiring diagram, but helps to know what you're trying to do.

RE: 2800 Wide Lite By Weekend Warrior?

59 pages wow! I’ll read those later Maybe I should run! I wouldn't run, but be aware and understand the issues. There are many, many very happy WW owners and a number that got taken for a bad ride. Not all of the WWs were impacted, so knowing what to look for can help you steer clear of problems.

RE: Need TOAD advice ........................

I am looking for a FLAT TOW car , but it seems that almost EVERY one I consider , has really rotten ratings and histories on Car Complaints website. I prefer something between 2005 and 2012 , for price reasons. Jeeps ... ALL , seem to be a garbage car.. So when you say Jeeps you need to qualify it a bit as there is the JEEP (Wrangler) and then every other sub-model they make; Cherokee, Compass, Rengade, etc. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara coming up on 97k miles and I've had zero problems. Just normal service and tires. Vast majority of Wrangler owners I know are the same. There were some years that were prone to some issues. The 2012 year had the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, and early on there were some issues. But to say they are a garbage car is a gross overstatement IMHO. However there is a reason you see so many Jeeps being towed behind motor homes, they are one of the easiest to tow and come with the fewest restrictions.

Here in the Willamatte valley of Oregon we have good camping weather well into fall and sometimes beyond. Oregon state parks are extremely popular in the fall with it being a challenge to find a spot. Despite data from their own web site proving this Oregon State Parks refuses to keep parks or loops open longer thus turning away revenue and camping opportunities to all. You can find a list of the Oregon State Parks Board Commissioners here with that you can find each member online, if you are serious I would personally email/mail/call each of them with your concern. They also have their meetings posted on that same page and you might go to one. A few years ago I helped lobby from an out of State visitors perspective to help get some grant funds to expand an ORV park. I can say the representatives on the East side all got back to me, not so much with some others. Go north and stay in a Washington park. Problem solved. Unless you live on the East side of the State. They abandoned most of the campgrounds in our area, turned some into KOAs and our county took over one.

RE: Toy hauler for kayaks and bicycles

I have actually been thinking of looking for a toyhauler when we upgrade our travel trailer. I want to store my expensive mountain bike and all the kids stuff chairs kayaks etc inside. There used to be toyhaulers with a s,all garage sized for a single quad, I wonder if there are still any around? I could be wrong, as it changes daily, but I don't think there are any currently being manufactured. Its a pretty small niche market.

RE: Subaru as dinghy

Were you able to find a baseplate for it? Blue Ox makes one, towing against Subaru's advice is up to you.
