RE: Keystone RV

I had roof problems and I called Dicor who furnished the original roof. they sent a re from the maker of the roof material. he agreed their was a problem. Dicor furnished all material EPDM and proper glue etc at no charge and I did the labor. A lot cheaper than $6000.

RE: replacing plywood roof

You will need glue on the luan before you put EPDM down. If you have fibreglass caps front and rear don't put your new material down any more than the existing. The new EPDM will need to go under the caps.

RE: Can't hear TV? ZVOX update!!

VA-Aprasr: Thanks for the information, I have looked at the web site mentioned and will try to learn a bit more. I have used the head phone for about a year now and it is so much better for me and over all volume of tv is lower. I am sure there are other problems worse but poor hearing is right at the top for me. Thanks for the info!

RE: air conditioner problems

Unlikely both would go out at the same time. The smoke and odor can come from a capacitor. Remember the capacitor will have a charge in it after disconnect of power Take a screwdriver that has insulated handle and place screwdriver over terminals. When mine went it it was "swollen" in appearance.

RE: AC question

Frig on ac set at 80 or higher. When you arrive at the trailer will it be near dark? Later in the day arrival will enable a shorter time to cool down.

RE: Replacement Fridge or New Cooling Unit

Bought mine at Home Depot about $400. took the door off and it came thru the door. The one I bought fit perfectly in the space where the old one was. Was able to secure it from the backside with wood screws thru a metal brace on the frig. Probably need to secure it a bit more from the to inside the trailer. You will need the inverter and possible battery change to go with the inverter. Go for it!

My Hydraulic system lasted 14 years before the cylinders needed to be rebuilt.

RE: slide-out switch nightmare

your Keystone slide pump should have a valve for each slide. You can close the one or two if you desire and still have one working.

RE: Good Sam poor road side assist

I don't shop at CW unless there is no other choice. It is no secret that CW has had these problems for years. You would think they would work to correct the negatives.
