RE: Under Bed Struts

How do you determine what they are if there are no markings on the struts? I need to replace the ones on my Monaco engine bay cover, no markings. My 2002 Monaco Windsor uses these on the engine hatch. See them here Just fyi, they are 150 lbs lift capacity and extended Length from Center Mount to Center Mount is 26.34 in.

RE: 3M film

A tip that most folks don't know. If you don't want to remove it but remove the mold so it won't show. Spray pure bleach on it let it sit overnight, spray it again the next day, and the next, and the next until it's gone. After the mold has disappeared, wax, wax, wax. I know that sounds unconventional but it works. I know the 3M is probably cracked but it's the mold that makes it look so bad.

RE: NEW RV'R My rig batteries keep dying.

You need to be plugged in. At least get you an extension cord and hook it up to a 15 amp outlet, 20 amp is better if available. That will probably keep your batteries charged if you're just using typical electronics. You probably won't be able to use all 12 volt appliances on 15 amps. If you have an inverter, it may be hooked to get 110 power from the 12 volt batteries. Running a water heater, microwave, refer, etc probably will suck the batteries dry in short order.

Any companies take base plates in trade?

Anyone know if any companies will buy used base plates or take them in trade. I've got three now that I've taken off different toads. Two Blue Ox and One RoadMaster. Of course, I'm going to have to buy another. It would be nice to trade them in on the new one. I know they are not worth much to a retailer but they aren't worth much to me either right now. I was just thinking they might sell remanufactured ones.

RE: Replacement porch light lens clear or Amber?

Many bugs cannot see yellow colors so it reduces swarms of insects.

RE: Engine starting issues

Had a similar problem. When I would get a no-start when turning the key, I found the small wire that goes to the starter solenoid was not getting any voltage. When it does get voltage, it would always start. The solenoid voltage was not passing through since the small wire was supposed to provide the voltage to close the contacts in the solenoid. I never figured out why I was not getting voltage through that wire at times. I just lived with it.
