RE: Base Plate question on Jeep Wrangler
When I had my Wrangler (2000 TJ) I had an aftermarket bumper with tabs welded on for the tow bar connection. The bumper was actually a 2"x 4" steel tube with the tabs welded on and bolted to the Jeep frame.

The city rv parks in Houghton and Marquette are FHU. Houghton is right on the water. Marquette sites are large and shaded and about 5 minutes from the lake.

RE: Inverter installation question.
I installed a 1500 watt inverter in the same place in my Suncruiser just for my Haier residential refrigerator. Run the refrig on the inverter all the time. Took trips to Ithaca NY and Wilmington De as well as Door County and Marquette MI this sumeer with no problems. Can send you pics of installation next week if you'd like.

Consumer Cellular advice
Currently have 2 phones using Tracfone and a straight talk hot spot. Recently have been having problems with the hot spot since Verizon bought them. Looks like they are also changing pricing for everything.
Therefore, considering changing to Consumer Cellular. We are not heavy users and only use the hot spot when on camping trips. Comparing pricing, for our usage costs would be pretty close to a wash.
Interested in any comments any one may have as to the change.

My personal experience with a 10 cu.ft. Haier residential in the motorhome at about 70 degrees ambient is that within 2hours at medium setting, the freezer has cooled to somewhere in the high 20's and the main box is in the low to mid 40's. I have remote wireless thermometer sensor's in both the freezer and main box. Once loaded, it runs in the upper 30's.
Also, due to a power outage last year, I discovered that it would run for over 12 hours on my 2 house batteries on a 1500 watt inverter.

I just find it interesting that the signia's only work with Samsung, Google and 2 other brands that I never heard of out of all the brands of cell phones that are available.

At the bottom of the page above they also state..
Mobile devices compatible with the Signia app 2.5.10 and higher:
Apple devices: The Signia app is compatible with all Apple devices with the iOS version 13.0 and higher.
Android devices: The Signia app is compatible with most of the Android devices (Android 8.0 and higher) ."
So, in order to get the APP to work, you are most likely going to have to find a older APP version..
On edit..
Forgot to mention, Motorola phones are not on their "supported" list..
I am taking the above to mean they are compatible with Android 8

No it's actually a hearing aid app to control the hearing aids volume, etc.
I would think Bluetooth would be standard acroos phones.What brand? I have the Oticon app and it works with my Samsung S7. But don't know about Motorola. It may depend on the version of Android on the phone.
They're Signia aids and their app, just won't make bluetooth connection my motorla with android 8 or wife's motorola with android 10. She has phonak's that work well on her phone.

There are many Bluetooth profiles that do different things.
The device operates using a particular profile and the phone has to support this profile.
Your hearing aid probably needs an A2DP profile on the phone to work.
Someplace I saw it needs ASHA, buy can't find any that have that.

I'm trying to figure out ( maybe learn) why a phone app will work on Samsung bluetooth but not on a motorola bluetooth. Can anyone explain why there would be a difference?
