Invisibrake for CRV

For those who have an Invisibrake installed on their Honda CRV, what pressure setting have you found works best for your driving? And, do you adjust it when you expect significant mountain driving?

RE: Zephyr Cove Charging $75 a night!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nevada Beach campground which is only about a mile and a half from Zypher Cove. A wonderful campground, if you can get in, run by USFS. No cable tv, no full hookups, no electricity but lots of trees and walking distance to the lake..even a place for dogs to play off leash. Yes, it is also operated by a concessionaire. I seem to recall that it was $35 a night but also takes the old folks discount.

Hope to Cache Creek

On my prior trips to Alaska, I have stayed on the 1 from Hope to Cache Creek. I am thinking of taking the 5 to Kamloops and then the 97. For those who have used both routes, which do you prefer and why. I have a 31 ft Class A pulling a Honda CRV.

RE: Suggestion Oregon, Northern Calif for this summer

Oregon designates some of their state parks as first come, first serve. That said, even those fill up in the summer. Arriving at check out time on a Sunday or Monday can get you a spot most of the time. https://oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=reserve.dsp_firstcome

RE: Bakersfield to Albany Oregon?

You can check road conditions for California and Oregon on line. One thing to remember is Oregon has a requirement to carry chains. If snow is not a factor in the Siskiyous, I5 will have fewer restrictions. 101 north of Eureka seems to always have lane restrictions.

RE: ? Winnebago Air Conditioner

Something to consider if you are looking at a Winnebago. If you want 2 ac's, you will want the upgraded 50 amp electrical package. This package is well worth it in my opinion. I have the Vista LX 30T and use both ac's frequently, turning off the bedroom one once the unit has cooled off.
