RE: Slide out Rollers

I noticed on my 2014 Fleetwood Bounder 34B Class A that my main slide out in the front of the coach has gotten sluggish and dips low in the front when opening. The tipping of the slide out causes it to drag on the coach floor and usually requires a person to help lift as motor opens slideout. I did find the a small roller under the couch and checked under the slideout, when it was extended. Along the track I noticed two rollers are missing which run on the track. I assume this is what causing the dipping. How would someone go about replacing these rollers? Would slideout have to be removed? I realize now these are Roller Camfollowers. Issue is no access. I can see where they go. Was thinking of removing a small section of the front facial plate of the coach slideout platform to gain access. The camfollowers are only about 12 inches in.

RE: 2014 Fleetwood Bounder Rear Slide Fuse

MOTOR HOME FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS The 120-volt circuit breakers and 12-volt fuses are located on three separate panels. The purpose of these three panels is to provide electrical circuit breakers and fuses to interrupt current flow if a circuit is overloaded. 1. 120-volt House Electrical — This electrical panel is located under the bed or the refrigerator (location varies depending upon model). This panel is very similar to a residential panel with resettable breakers. 2. Fleetwood Automotive 12-volt System — This panel is located in a side compartment or in the engine access compartment. This electrical center contains battery disconnect systems, entry step, fog light, and some other automotive circuitry. 3. 12-volt Chassis Fuses — This electrical panel is located under the driver’s side dash area Fleetwood customer service says there is not one fuse for each slide out. They are controlled by one module located in engine compartment.

2014 Fleetwood Bounder Rear Slide Fuse

The drivers side rear slide on my 2014 Bounder 34B is not working. I suspect a fuse seeing as I don't hear anything happening. Where would I find the fuse for this rear slide? There is one small fuse box near floor on passenger side near the bunk bed slide out. Any other place I should be looking? Thanks

RE: painting/replacing wheel simulator rim liner

If you don't want the chrome of the simulators, take them off. The only reason they are used is because it cost less to polish the lightweight piece than the wheel. Painting over the plating, and making it stick is PITA. Paint the wheel is easier. Not sure how painting the wheel is easier. Usually there's a ton of dirt and some rust. To do it right they would need to be removed, tire removed, hand sanded or media blasted and then painted and put all back together again. Sure you could try and tape it up on the RV and use a rattle can, but results usually reflect the approach. Trying to clean and remove rust, tape a perfect circle, cover the lugs, the center cap, stem and paint outside without over spray and drips is challenging. Wheel covers come off easy are smaller and snap back on. There's no plating, usually they're polished SS or aluminum. Yes possibly buying a new set and painting hold ones would be best bet. I have a friend who runs a body shop that could paint them for me.

RE: painting/replacing wheel simulator rim liner

I was hoping I could buy them in black and keep the existing liners for any future buyer. Thanks

painting/replacing wheel simulator rim liner

Has anyone painted or replaced the chrome 19.5 F53 FORD 10 LUG RV motorhome wheel simulator rim liner black? I think the black would match paint scheme on my 2014 Bounder 34B better. Little to no chrome anywhere else on RV. Thanks
