RE: Replacing plastic squeeze latches on Onan service door

just use some vice grips and break the plastic, since you are going to replace them anyway. Once they harden they are going to break anyway.

RE: F53 Loses Power on Rough Roads

Check the battery connectors. Engine is not normal if it drops RPM. Fuel or air for that if not just a electrical connection for the tach.

RE: Buying RV that's been stored

All RV are stored, don't know of anyone who keeps them on the road 24/7 and like all have stated, needs to be inspected. 20 year old vehicles are at the point of needing major repair/parts.

RE: Furrion A/Cs? sells them. Reviews are 1/2 star lower than the name brands. They show two fans instead of just one, so better there. What I read as info is good. Price is just a tad lower on some things.

RE: Crank Case Filter replacement

Add wash the top of the engine down to get it clean before you start. Don't want that stuff inside the engine.

RE: No power to gen fuel pump

If starter works then you have power. Follow Doug list to do for the rest since you do have power, just not to the pump.

RE: No power to gen fuel pump

Depends on which battery start you generator. House or chassis. Ours are house and the positive battery terminal connects to the starter on the generator. So if you have no power check the batteries first.

RE: Ford v10 stalling in the first five minutes

I have no wires going to the throttle body so I would say that this is for a newer model year than ours which is a 99. The cleaning of both keep them clean but did not stop the issue. Just a good warm up and it was fine.

RE: Ford v10 stalling in the first five minutes

Our 99 does it only in the cooler weather. I just let it warm up and slowly get up to speed and its fine. Never figure out why it does it and never a code.

RE: 2005 Thor Mandalay slide won't retract

You can open them all and it might work. On mine you loosen a couple bolts so that the gear would slip on the clutch. Then you could just push it back in a lock it manual. You might be able to see the gear drive when you look up in the compartment.

RE: Replacement ideas for pos Jensen a/v receiver they might have a spacer. What I did was replace the finish layer of material. I went with Corian topping. Or any brand will work. Comes in different thickness. I just made a pattern and cut to fit. You could also use any counter top material and glue on thin plywood.

RE: Toilet Bowl Leak

just take the sprayer apart, or at lease ours you can, and check the o-rings. Clean/replace and re-lube using water grease. On ours the head can be tighten down also.

RE: Generator question

I would look at grounds and power connectors. The other thing maybe a bad fuel line.

RE: Return vent below shower - hot air

On our Newmar Mountain Aire, that vent allows warm air into the wet bay to prevent freezing. In the wet bay is a switch marked HEAT. When this switch is on, and the outside temperature falls below 40* and the furnace is enabled, a fan comes on that pulls warm air through this vent into the wet bay. Our Mountain Aire is the same except when you turn on the switch the fan in the basement suck air from a front floor heater vent and the vent under the shower warm air comes out to do as you said , keep things from freezing in the basement. If you turn that switch on in the summer then you can suck cold air out of the coach and cool down the basement and the warm/cool air will come out of that vent under the shower.
