RE: Oil stick problem - need help

As someone has already stated, It could be hitting the engine block due to the tube not seated all the way into the block.

RE: Basement Heat Pump

Yes low voltage will cause starting issues. Heat pumps use the same compressor as the Air Condition. Do you have a heating strip also. If so low voltage would cause a lot of issues. It seems you do not understand how your Air Condition/heat pump works. Simply put, a heat pump is a device that uses a small amount of energy to move heat from one location to another. Not too difficult, right? Heat pumps are typically used to pull heat out of the air to heat a RV, home or office building, but they can be reversed to cool a building. In a way, if you know how an air conditioner works, then you already know a lot about how a heat pump works. This is because heat pumps and air conditioners operate in a very similar way. https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/rv-heating-cooling

RE: F53 rear diff service

Lou hit it on the dot. I change out all my fluids. The new synthetic gear oils last longer, and you see it when you change them out. No where as black as the old stuff.

RE: Blower Fan on Dutch Star

I do hear it on ours. Not loud, It is a round , maybe 12 inches long mounted up again the slide out floor connected to the flex duct. You have to climb into the bay to get to it. Might need to be clean out and lube or time for a replacement. Remember it does not run unless the heater is running.

RE: Blower Fan on Dutch Star

If like my 99 it is located on the slide out driver side in the middle bay. Pull air out of the RV when the heat is on to warm the bays.
