RE: Anyone attending blythe bluegrass festival 2020?

The $60 is just for your RV for up to four nights (In Thursday out Monday). You'll need $40 admission tickets for each person attending. I just went on the online registration and everything seemed to work. In fact, I just used it for my own tickets. I was also able to download the registration by mail form but I noticed a problem - they tell you to mail it in with a self addressed stamped envelope but they don't give you an address where to send it. I'd just do it online and print out your receipt. They have a list at the gate of people who registered but I always print it out just in case. Here's the registration page in case you need it: https://coloradoriverfair.com/bluegrass-registration?olsPage=products Thanks. Is there a problem waiting to purchase tickets until the show? Does it fill up too? I was able to purchase the RV spot

RE: Anyone attending blythe bluegrass festival 2020?

Thanks for the replies. I've tried to download the registration form with no luck. I've also tried calling--no answer. Hmmmm. $60 for the RV selection--does that include camping AND admission? Pretty reasonable.

RE: Anyone attending blythe bluegrass festival 2020?

We'll be there. We've gone for several years. And I agree with Ava - come early, get a spot on the grassy area and they will bring a wood stove and a supply of firewood to your site. It is dry camping, though. There are two RV parks just east of the fairgrounds that some folks use but most stay at the fairgrounds. I'd guess that there were close to 200 rigs camped there. One change is that in past years the festival was put on by the chamber of commerce. For 2020 they have turned it over to the fairgrounds to run. The band lineup looks good and if they get the same volunteers as in years past, it should be a winner. Be prepared for cool to cold evenings. You might also consider Bluegrass on the Beach Festival in Lake Havasu on the first weekend in March. It is our favorite festival. its nice to see something positive about it. We're driving a long way so we don't want to be sorry

RE: Anyone attending blythe bluegrass festival 2020?

Blythe pretty much a homonym to blight which is what you get in Blythe. Personally, I would rather walk through a lion's cage wearing pork chop panties than stay in Blythe, California. I'd get my grass, blue or otherwise, elsewhere. Made me laugh. I have thought about staying in a nearby rv park and come days?

Anyone attending blythe bluegrass festival 2020?

We're thinking about attending the blue grass festival in Blythe in 2020. Is anyone going? Where do you stay--on site or nearby RV park? Any suggestions?

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

UPDATE: Sorry--been offline for some time. Major RV trip taken. Transfer switch hums "quietly". I can't hear it at all inside the rig now. Only if I open the door and listen. So I'm happy with it--I guess

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

I'll say it again they do hum. Now don't keep chasing you tail find a few other units while camping which have a transfer switch ask them if you can have a listen ,I bet you most or all will say please do.I had mine for 15 years and sold it that way. My new A class has a manual plug in and out no noise with that. Take a look at the Progressive Dynamics website and call up the PD52DCS. Their big push is that this one does NOT hum. And they told me that when I called. The new one should be here tomorrow. Installed May 7. Update then.

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

4/17 second update. My pd52dcs transfer switch is noisy! They will send a new one. CW EMPLOYEE Thought it was my power source at home! Can that be true?

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

3/19 update: my batteries failed to keep a full charge with the old transfer switch. Of the four lights on the panel it always dropped to three quickly then two and finally one light. NOW with the new transfer switch it’s not only quieter but the four status lights stay on—day after day! Not sure why. In both cases the mh was unused. Perhaps the old transfer switch drew power out of the batteries just sitting?

RE: Reflex Steering Stabilizers ok?

Any other ford f53 chassis owners have this stabilizer? Anyone with a motorhome similar to mine?

RE: Has this happened to you?

Mine happened at a car wash. Guy saw larger chip in windshield said I should get it fixed soon as it will spread.. I had had it fixed before this. it's been 10 years later--chip hasn't spread--of course

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

CW corrected the issue. A technician with 20 years experience fixed it. It does hum but tolerable—unlike the pd52. So we’ll see how it goes..... A constant low volume hum. We'll see how it goes over time

RE: Michelin 22.5 tires

I bought them thru Superior tire in Portland oregon through FMCA. NOT a good deal. Cheaper tires, but they charged $540 to install and balance! Discount tire would have been cheaper!!!!! The tires are great. Very quiet

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

I understand they are. The DC conversion is all internal. You might want to go to their website and submit a question. I've had to clean relays about every 3 years on our last 2 RVs. After a while you get good at it. It's dusty here out West. Thanks Gary. I did call PD and he said the DCS will transfer over easily. Main difference is the size of the box. UPDATE: MH is sitting at camping world now getting the transfer switch installed. I'll let you know how it works:)

RE: PD 52 transfer switch hum normal?

UPDATE: Thank you for your responses. I bought and am having installed the new PD52DCS at camping world next week. Note: They had a sale on the unit, plus $25 off on President's day, plus $59 this month to install anything. Seemingly a good deal.
