RE: Would this be crazy??

Our Excursion had 19?,??? Miles and our 8600 lb trailer was about 5 or 6 years old. We needed something newer to pull the trailer with and found anything that could pull the trailer would coast a lot of money. We trailer the trailer and a small amount of cash for a 10 year old MH. That was 4 years ago and the little bit that we have done to the MH is far less the monthly payments on a truck.

RE: Tow Dolly VS flat tow

Of you change cars you only need to get a new hitch for the new car. The to what will work with most any car. The hidden hitch is so cheep I just set up my pickup so I can tow ether that or my car. Two pins, two cables and a wire plug, that is all you need to book up or unhook. Nothing to pick up, move, or carry.

RE: Dish newbie

When we went from directv to dish the installer put the dish box in the living room, the Joey in the bedroom and our vip211 in the MH and made all three work.

RE: FIBERGLASS campers ??

We have had to "regular campers" and they were both fiberglass. We got them because every TT that we looked at was made that way. I don't know if I get the question but the last one had two slideouts and a rear living room, they were the main reason we got it.

RE: Sanitizing fresh water tank

Now and then, city water gets put in the tank or run thru the lines, that's all I ever do. How often do you sanitize to water system in your house?

RE: Need TOAD advice ........................

K Charles.... According to Matorhome Dinghy Guide... NONE of the HYUNDAIs are flat towable. Are you FLAT TOWING yours ? It's a standard shift and yes we tow it 4 down. Hyundai says to turn off the radio and heater so you don't run the battery down and there is no speed limit for towing.

RE: AT&T just came out with a deal on cells that work in mexico

They should make their cell service work in the US first before they say it will work everywhere.

RE: Need TOAD advice ........................

We flat tow two (one at a time). We've towed our '13 elantra 2 door about 25,000 miles s far with no trouble and I just set up our '10 ranger about 3 months ago. It doesn't weight very much and was trouble free for three short trips so far.
