RE: RCMP seek witnesses - Liard Hot Springs death investigation

I don't think there's much room for humor here. You're correct. Its RV.net. the driest board on the w.w.w. It is a 100% match though? Even Joe Kenda could not have done better. 3 People have been killed here .... not sure why you don't get it.

RE: RCMP seek witnesses - Liard Hot Springs death investigation

Not much info in the video, but the article has a drawing of a person of interest ..... probably be good for anyone traveling in the area to look at that. Hope this link works. https://www.foxnews.com/world/british-columbia-murders-north-carolina-woman-australian-man-canada-missing-teens-dead-man Photo didn't work out like I wanted but there is a link to it below. RE: RCMP seek witnesses - Liard Hot Springs death investigation

We have had circumstances keep us from doing the Canada / Alaska trip for 5 or 6 years .... Were hoping to be able to do it in 2020. Hope they get this resolved. Everyone be safe and thanks for the updates.

RE: Please read the signs....

It seems that people of all ages now days have lost their motivation to be curteous to other people in general. Poor driving habits is just another symptom of that. I agree that driving too slow is just as dangerous ... if not more dangerous ... than driving too fast. It seems more and more people are just clueless when it comes to curteous safe driving..... I REALLY do wish there was a way to ticket other drivers.

RE: Please read the signs....

Two of my biggest pet peeve's are people driving slow in the passing lane and tailgaters who just seem to love to drive as close as they can ... even when there is a huge line of cars and nothing anyone can do about it. Both of these type drives ... well maybe if they do one they also do the other .... are dangerous. I have considered a pop up sign for the 2nd type that says the "closer you follow the slower I go." I don't know any solution for the passing lane driver ..... maybe we could be empowered to ticket another driver if we had video proof of their bad driving.

RE: Bye Bye DuraMax

Didn't read the whole thread ..... but be aware you are loosing the Allison transmission as well. It's a VERY tough tranny. The reason I bought my Duramax was as much about the tranny as the engine.

RE: hydraulic jack rebuild

Kind of amazing you can still get all the parts for the old hydraulic jacks .... but not the newer Attwoods.

RE: chevy 6.0

Don't forget about the tranny. I went diesel, so I don't know much about the tranny in the 6.0. I went with the diesel because of the Allison transmission. If you blow a tranny you will eat up the cost difference pretty quick. My previous truck lost the tranny twice ... hence ... go with the Allison. That was the tipping point for me. Diesel = more power and torque = tougher transmission
