RE: What sealer to use?

If you can remove a ceiling vent from the inside and see some of the roofing material folded in, an EPDM roof will be white and the backside will be black.

As said above, the transynd can be easily tested to check for the quality and suggested life span of your current fluid.

RE: refer stopped working on gas

Look at the burner and see if there is a little pile of tiny metal bits pulled under the burner. They are rusty filings coming from the boiler tube above. If so, some of them can plug the burner up. Vacuum or blow out the burner tube and try to light again. This something I do a couple times a year when mine quits.

RE: Parasite control issues help

Here on Vancouver Island we don’t need heart worm medication unless we are travelling but Bravecto is what is recommended here for fleas and ticks and doesn’t upset the dogs

RE: Atwood water heater burnt 110v wire

I recently helped a friend with their burnt wires feeding the water heater in a 2 year old trailer. As said above the connections were the problem. The wire connectors were very sloppy and shorted out and the ground wire screw was loose as well. Very poor workmanship.

RE: Brake working?

You can see if the brakes are operating by feeling them after towing and making few harder stops to feel how warm or hot or cool they are. They should be al least warm to touch.

RE: Battery disconnects above door

One turns on and off the chassis battery. The other turns on and off the house batteries. As soon as I park my rig, and extend my steps, I turn the chassis battery off so it has no draw on it and my engine will start.

RE: Drier sheets, magic Eraser and glass

Use 0000 fine steel wool. I use it all the time without harming the glass. Will clean anything off the glass.

RE: 2019 Equinox Dead Batteries

The owners manual probably suggests to remove specific fuses when towing. There are disconnect switches available to make that easier

RE: If getting 'Service Temporarily Unavailable!'

On my iPad I just hit the arrow to go back and touch the post a second time and it usually comes up after getting the no service notice

RE: Best 6-Pin Location in Fascia ??

I don’t have a Jeep but put it in a place where it is accessible when towing bars are in place or not.

RE: Plugged in or Trickle Charger

Use a slurry mix of baking soda and water to clean terminals. It will foam up and neutralize any acid. Then rinse off. Coat terminals with a commercial brand spray or just use Vaseline.

RE: Best roof coating for aging rubber roofs

I haven’t used any products yet on mine but watch the Dicor web site for coating a rubber roof with their products. They look like it would do a good job. There are several companies and products out there that you would have to weigh for yourself.

RE: Solar Charge Controller question

I have a basic pwt controller from amazon that works fine for me. I have two panels with 120 watts total, charging 2 6v batteries with no problems.

RE: Escape window falls out

I was going to try mine out to see how much trouble it would be but after reading these posts I think I will leave alone. It has been there for many many years..

RE: chassis battery

My older rig has two switches by the door. One turns the chassis battery on or off and the other turns the coach batteries on or off. I don’t know why newer units do not have the same simple switches. I have no parasitic draw from either when turned off.
