Diesel with any bio-diesel content will not store well, try to avoid it before storing. It will turn to a brown sludge that will plug filters and may take out injectors. I have had this happen.
As sidecar flip said, streaking beacon is their name, they will use the acid to remove bugs or heavy dirt, and it will etch your paint. Could always tell trucks washed there a lot as the paint was dull.
