We hope to drive this route in the next few weeks. Will we have any problems with low bridges or tight mountain curves? We have a 40 foot 5th wheel trailer and a 1 ton dually crew cab truck.
Turns out we did have a broken spring, which caused the lean angle. Found a shop that just happened to have a used spring of the right size. That took care of it for now. Should at least get us home.
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your input here. We found a local repair shop and they got us back on the road. So now we can finish the trip. When we get home we can install heavier springs all around etc.

More good ideas. I checked out several locations in Alabama. They look promising. One question: are there NO SEE'EM (spelling) bugs in that area? We ran into those bugs in the panhandle before and they nearly ate me alive.
